Mr. Adams was contacted by a member of the “Family” who claimed to be a career killer since he was 17 years old working for the mob and CIA. I imagine that this story is close to what the Zodiac Killer had experienced himself and fits in with Jack’s life. Looking for help was the guise of the contact, but then Mr. Adams gets a postcard from the Zodiac Killer claiming he is next.
